Regional crisis outreach
How to protect your workers during regional emergencies.
Regional crisis outreach is a tool for protecting workers during unexpected events like natural disasters, civil unrest, or armed conflicts.
When to trigger a crisis outreach: When a region where your workers are located experiences a sudden emergency, you can override standard check-in schedules to perform a bulk safety check.
How to activate: 1. Navigate to the Dashboard Overview (default login page). 2. Locate the Check-in Overview panel. 3. Click the "Regional crisis outreach" link in the top right corner of the panel. 4. Select the affected Country from the dropdown menu in the popup. 5. Click "Activate global outreach" to begin.
Worker experience: Workers receive a high-priority WhatsApp message asking if they are safe. This follows our standard Safety protocol, focusing on physical wellbeing first. They can reply with: - "I'm safe and okay": Updates their status to COMPLETED. - "I need help": Flags their status as CRITICAL for your immediate attention. - "Request repatriation": Specifically tags the worker as needing help to return to the Philippines, allowing for rapid coordination with DMW/DFA.
Every crisis outreach is permanently logged as an EMERGENCY event in the worker's timeline, providing clear proof of your agency's proactive welfare monitoring during critical times.
